engine- / guns-sound etc...

Sinds a couple of weeks I dont hear a sound when I fly around.
I have no idea if I clicked anything at the time to get this result. I put some switches to max in the sound box but this doesn't help to get the sound back.
Does anybody know a sollution?

(I can hear internet radio or the sound of a movie, so the headphone/speakers are not the problem.)

Could it be the conf.ini

As in: change it to =1 and retry?

Set all the sound settings to there lowest or default setting and see what happens.

In the games hardware setup, under soundsetup you are sure all the knobs are turned to max volume?
