All,

I have a widesceen 21 inch LG monitor. I sometimes fly in (yes NOOB) mode without cockpit, with those red and blue arrows pointing to friendly and enemy planes. These should be all along the border of the screen.

With my old 4:3 monitor, they all showed up on complete 360 degrees top bottom and sides of the screen.

With the Widescreen, they show up very well on top, bottom and the left side of the screen, but I have to pan towards the left to show any arrows of planes coming in from the right.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix OR is just the nature of the beast?

Thanks.

What is your monitor resolution, and is that what you're running the game in?

I had a similiar problem with Team Speak Overlay. Try going in to setup and playing in GL mode. I think its under video settings.

With widescreen you see less on your screen (its getting cropped).

Yes, but that doesnt explain why it's eliminated the arrows on the right of the screen only.

This is a known glitch with widescreen in il2, it's mostly on the right and the bottom that the arrows don't show unless you crank the view way around. Nothing to be done, just have to live with it.
