How to play multiplayer

Hello everyone.
I would like to try to play rainbow sin online, but how do i get online?
Do i need a small program i download, or?

If anyone have a link, and would be very happy, if you could post it here:-)

You can install hamachi, create a lan server (via game interface).
Your friends can also install hamachi, join your hamachi channel and play with you like by LAN.

But using hamachi spoils the connection and adds ping. Currently looking for a way to join a game by ip.....

Well you could just use the in-game browser...Just go to Multilayer screen, log in and join a server!

Hello again.
Thanks for the answers. I've tried to create a login to ubisoft. When i log in to ravensheild, and go to multiplayer-> i can see all the rooms, where people play, but i can't join anyone of them. >The "Join" button in the top, is just gray, and can't get pushed. Do i need a extra program on my computer, to play online?

Is so, can you please send me a link. Or if you guys have the time explain me how to install a program or so?

You don't need a program to play online.

Try double clicking the server, or selecting it...If that doesn't work, reinstall your game.

The reason it's gray is because the server is running a different version of the game than you.

You need to find the proper patch to patch your game to version 1.6.
