here are the other pics (since i found em..might as well add them here.) yeah its real late on posting like (6-8 months) but i couldnt find where i stored the pics on teh PC..also, my batteries were almost dead, so there isnt a lot of different aircraft..only a few with limited battery time. plus i got a story that goes with it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
my neigbor (Gennero)is deaf. he doesnt have many friends that play with him after school..so i try to. i asked if he would like to go to the airshow with us. he was delighted. what is funny is how children can pick up on things so quickly that us a"DOLTS" cannot. my brother brought his two children. they never met Generro before. halfway thru the day, they had several forms of communication down to get by, and its like they had known each other for years! he has never been to an airshow, or knew what to expect.
at one point, during a coast guard heli display, he got up, and ran to the fence..we followed in siut.. he BOLTED when he saw the heli. damn near scaled the fence to get to it, and had to pull him off! he was crying and yelling off-key, trailing "DAAAAA AANK OUOOOOOOOOO"
WE HAD NO IDEA WHY HE WAS FREAKING OUT. then i realised.. he thought THIS was THE chopper that pulled his family to rescue during the flooding in LA.. (his mother told my wife and I her ordeal, and that the coast guard taken the family to safety)
we made sure that we got to see a coast guard heli on display (before the rest of us got there, my brother explained to the pilot the situation.. so he was aware of what was going on both about Genero being deaf, and him wanting to thank the "thats the helicopter!" that personally rescued his family)
the crew went right along with it, and you couldnt tell, that this wasnt the crew that saved him...it was the most tearful "fake" moment i ever saw in my life. he hugged them and shook thier hands, and just stared at them..the crew was almost teary eyed. im sure some of them were there during the disaster, and had a bit of reflecting going on. he was ecstatic he got to meet "the actual pilots" and got to personally say "thank you".
he went home, and told his family. the mother asked if what happened was true. we said "yes". he met THE pilots and crew who rescued YOUR family". she almost fainted, because she knew he had wanted to do that for a long time, but how could it ever have been aranged.
whether or not that was the actual crew, we wont ever know. but to Gennero,it WAS, and his dream came true..and impacted a few of us.
i had to get it out. it was moving.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

whats cool is he can "feel" in his body, differences between a jet or an airplane taking off. i guess we all can, but he is better in tune. and whether it was an inline type, or rotary type..
he is such an awesome guy! but.... for some reason some values havent either been applied yet. nothing against one being deaf, but i guess since you have to slowly learn the language first, other values, such as sciences, and stuff come way down the line later on. for instance..
i was cleaning my garage, he and his brothers came over to hang out, and asked to help. the garage floor was in process of being hosed down from some spilled soft drinks, and wood working from a few days earlier. anyways, i turned and i see the end of an orange extension cord submersed in water...and Genero is about to plug it IN!! i mean like 3 inches away. i started to run towards himm his youngest brother right next to him (who is 6, and knew) yelled NOOOOOOO! sacked him into the ground!
we all were freaking out. i told him you cannot mix electricity and water (in several different ways) it will kill you!! "you could have killed any or all of us, in the water".
he said,he was sorry, and wrote down "I didnt see the electricity, but i saw the cord..how can a cord be dangerous in water? its plastic, and everybody plays with plastic toys in the pool."
so sometimes you have to really keep an eye out on him :P

really cool pics... The first pic is an F16 jet intake... the supporting rod gave it away.
I didn't realize the rifling on the big cannons were so prominent... especially on that GAU.
Really good what you did for the kid too.

Yea, if it wasnt for that center strut, or whatever it is, I would have never been able to geuss what that was. Looked like a weird discus or something falling into a bowl of milk or at first. It's probably soem kind of sensor.
