How to defeat Duke Gerhard?

I am seriously stuck on the campaign!

The map where you have to defeat 3 heroes before you can kill Duke Gerhard...

I cant manage to get as powerful an army as gerhard, and he always kills my hero... How should I defeat this son of a *****?

MMmm.. i didn't have big army but I make use of the Sacred Kirin's bug and my 2 ultimate spells to wipe out this big army.

If I used quick combat, I will lose... if I play manually I can win (it took me like 10 min to play the battle but since I won it last time, I'm not going to play the battle again... I'm in a rush now...)

So how? I just "disabled" his marksmen, I used my ranged units to hit them from outside first until they decided to come out and play with my small armies... well I did killed them off easily with Sacred Kirin's ability!

I am playing as Duke Slava. And its like the second or third level in the campain.

oh the tutorial map, well, the moment, you can hire heroes, get about 3-4 of them, give them architect I and place them at the control area with core creature dwelling.
Defeat all heroes and necro except the female knight on the north part of the map.
Once you have an army big enough, say like 120 archers, then you attack her.
Then, there'll be one hero appeared from Gerhart's town, don't fight him, you might lose casulties. Just go straight to Gerhart, use quick combat first to see results.

Another key point is to buy artifacts!

I think I exiled her or what my option was pretty early in the game. I also have trouble killing the last standing neutrals. I took over necro early in the game. It seems like I can't out produce gerhards army.

How to auto resolve combat?

It's a bit sad when they make the game so people have a hard time even completing the turorial...

i cant beat the tutorial because the guy builds up an army over 9k and because of that i have this piece of crap game that i refuse to play.

Convert the Necro castle. Convert the orc dwelling. Kill the hero that invades after you after you take out the third hero and banish Valeska. Now: camp. And I mean seriously camp Gerhardt's castle. Sit Slava by the rally flag outside and then kill the armies of the secondary heroes that the enemy rebuys twice a week. When it offers you the chance to attack the main army, just decline and walk back to the rally flag. Each secondary hero will get some portion of the troops in the castle and you should be able to crush them without loss. So by playing whack a mole, you can lock the final enemy down to negative growth. Bring periodic reinforcements to Slava and do the final battle when you feel ready. You can do it with about a hundred crossbowmen, but you have positive growth and the enemy has negative growth so you can do it whenever you feel comfortable. You can even do it no-loss if you wait long enough.

If you only sit in your castle and keep clicking change turn, not creeping, not doing anything -- well, then I'm afraid you suck so badly at games that your post is way off. The game is pretty good, aside from the mass of bugs.
