Ohhhh That is sooooooooo sweet drool......... would I add anythng? well maybe a little wear on the cockpit lip where the pilot gets in and out and a little round the fuel cap on the side, but bar that nothing. it is perfection in motion http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Your P-40 looks very good! The general wear is beautiful, and I think you're got the walkway-wear down very well. The only thing that looks a bit off to my eyes is the exhaust stains. They tend to follow the general wing-curve, and get generally broader but fainter as you go backwards. Apart from that this is really droolingly good work!
The exhaust stain thing is a bit difficult to explain. Below is a link to a picture of Hurricanes I made. They’re by no means perfect, but they show the general idea about the exhaust stains:

thanks guys... i appreciate the critique..
The exhaust bit is already included on the template, i haven't touched it yet... although it is on the list.
someone posted a picture of a p-40 on a thread the other day where the paint had been scrubbed off around the exhaust area, and it is missing the soot.
interesting... it gave me ideas. i will do something about it

you over did the added wear around the cockpit and fuel cap, reduce it a bit so it follows the skin lines as it would just be on edges where it rubs http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif what is the red bit under the cap? and fuel staining will show as a darker version of the paint http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
bar that its gorgeous
