Recently I found out the hard way that no update patch has been released for Prince Of Persia - Warrior Within for the xbox 360. Sands of time worked so I assumed the sequels would too.
So I was wondering why do you think Ubi soft did one for the sand of time and not the other two?

sigh.
360 is only compatible with some of the games from the original Xbox. Sands of Time is one of them. It's got absolutely NOTHING to do with o patch of any sort, it's just the way it is. Backwards compatibility can not be achieved with a simple patch. Not UBI's fault this time.

microsoft says other wise.
They say it just needs an update.
I've seen other games go from not being playable on it to getting an update that allowed them to be.

give me an example.
though disc-based Xbox games can't be updated, you know... original Xboxes didn't even have hard-drives... correct me if I'm wrong...
therefore the only way backwards compatibility of a game could be arranged is to update the 360 console operating system. as I said, UBIsoft has nothing to do with this. the one this complaint needs to be taken to is Microsoft. And those guys are so freakin' rich I doubt they'd care..

There's been a few different ones.
One of which was Lord of the rings return of the king.
Also xbox magazine demo disks carried updates for original xbox games to be come compatible with the 360.

Ubi should release a patch for sure.

the original xbox DID have a harddrive... 10 gb to be exact (more than enough... mine NEVER got close to being filled).
anyway, the issue lies in the firmware updates. microsoft must enable certain features to be playable which coincide with certain games at the same time (from what i understand)... this is also the way the ps3 works. now, it's entirely possible that microsoft may enable certain games to play instead of features or whatever... but i don't own a 360, so i couldn't tell you for sure. anyway, regardless, it's DEFINITELY a firmware update microsoft must implement. nothing to do with ubisoft... sorry... complaining on these forums will yield nothing for you.

At least it enlighten us why there wasn't a patch for a bugged game for the beginning. Someone should contact Microsoft and tell them about the issue.

while yes, WW was quite buggy... this isn't in reference to the bugs. it's in regards to the compatibility with the xbox360. or maybe i'm missing the point of what you're trying to say, tristan. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Even if they did the other two games as games on demand that would be fine too I guess.

Just wanted to mention (and I'm surprised no one has done it before me) that Ubi has just released a patch for TFS some time today. When I loaded the game tonight, it said I had to download an update for the game so I'm pretty sure it's a patch that fixes the glitch from hell towards the end of the game (thank god because I really didn't want to have to delete my auto save file, even if the back up would still be there). I've been playing the game on the PS3 but I would assume it's available for the Xbox as well.
Also, I might as well add that I'm a complete newbie to the PoP universe and I've been lurking around here for a few months now... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif *waves*
