Ugh...I happened upon this "movie" on the SCI-FI channel at the same time I was playing through Cold Fear on hard mode.
The pure suckage of Deep Rising makes the acting, special effects, action, and plot of Cold Fear look like Citizen Kane or the Indiana Jones series
P.S. Here's a funny review for some B-Movie cheeze that has a drug running Brit and friends fighting agaist a shape shifting monster on an oil rig turned research lab:
