Major Announcement countdown?

Anyone notice the "Major Announcement" countdown ticker on the Rainbow Six website? Happens in about two weeks. Maybe it's the GR:AW PC demo! Yeehaw!

Probably another multiplatform R6 title though. Oh boy, here we go again.

Damn. Just figured it out. 360 hours. Sound familiar. 360 360 360...360. Gee I wonder what the means.

Well I hope it would be Rainbow Six related, since it is on the Rainbow Six website. I don't see how it would have anything to do with Ghost Recon, but you have me worried about the 360 thing. Well whatever it is, I hope it has something to do with Lockdown.

I'm sure it will be Rainbow Six related, but probably 360 related as well. However, that doesn't mean the PC will be left out. GR:AW is a favorable indication that the PC can be developed for along side the console, hopefully in a good way. Then again, you never know. I still access this forum through the RavenShield website, and the last thing posted there was the announcement for Lockdown being developed for all platforms so I'm always reminded of the turn this franchise has taken.

Was checking around in the console forum. Looks like it's probably the next gen Rainbow game. Scroll down and you'll see one of the devs posted about it. Man, we get no love in this forum at all.

And most likely be released when the Rainbow Six movie comes next year...Makes logical marketing sence to me atleast...

it cant be a map pack for lockdown, no way, i cant see anyone buying it. its not anything for GRAW cause its on a rainbowsix website not a ghost recon one or nUBI.

I believe it's one of 3 things.

Console version announcement. Perhaps a release date on the already announced next installment.

Or the announcement of the next multi-platform RS installment that will also include a PC version.

Or perhaps a patch announcement for LD PC.

I believe that this is the announcement of the next Rainbow Six 5 game for Xbox 360, which wil be based on a next gen game engine, like GRAW, and be more tactical in nature. I then wonder what the pc game will be, what game engine and what developer. Since RSE outsourced the pc game dev to Grin, they would either be building a new game engine or porting the 360 for R6 5.
