My skill level plateau'd quite a while ago, and not in a particularly impressive place. I'd love to watch some gameplay videos of people getting the kinds of high scores whose acquisition I can't understand even the theory of. They don't need to be actually instructional - no need for "and then, and then" narration - since I suspect that just seeing how someone ends up getting several thousand points in a few minutes would be helpful enough.

Anyone got any good links?

Hope they help you out http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

What mode are you looking to improve in the most? Might help to make recommendations.

Sheesh. Can't believe that there's a whole thread for this, and I totally missed it. Thanks for pointing it out.

I used to play Wanted almost exclusively, but a friend recently picked up a copy of the game, so it looks like Alliance is going to be the poison of choice for a while.

Just going to warn you, Alliance never starts. Ever. EVER.

We just played three games of it last night, with very little loading time waiting for each match.

I'd had to delete the Leonardo DLC, but that was because my buddy doesn't have it yet. After that, no problems at all.

Squiiddish is clearly unaware of DLC0, generally you get a match in less than 5 minutes with all the DLCs off. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I hope you know you dont have to delete anything, you just turn it off in downloadable content? The Da vinci is DLC 3. Just saying, in case you're re-downloading it whenever you wanna play Assassinate.

Edit: and Alex, seems (from the three Alliance games I've played) that smurfs are fond of rage quit. Happened on all three, one mid-game. Not the biggest base for a statistic, but 100% none the less.

Edit #2 @OP: you should check out the Squiid channel, nothing turned my view on this game more around for me than his Roofpocalypse vid. always in my heart, Squiidish.

I didn't know that. How do I do that?

After having tried it a few times, I doubt I'll ever want to play it again. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Thanks for the tip, though.

Understand your frustration, it´s tough in the beginning. You (or at least I) have to rethink every strategy and style from Wanted, plus the lock system takes some getting used to. But in the thread of the thread (haha), check out some gameplay vids and you´ll easier see the bigger picture. A great mode.

I THINK (not gonna turn on my PS to confirm) that you go to Options in the multiplayer menu, then Downloadable content. You should see DLC 1, 2, and 3 there. 3 is the Da vinci (with Alhambra, Assassinate and Pariah, Knight and Dama Rosa), DLC 2 (with Mont st Michel) is in my experience best because it has a big base and usually short waits, and DLC 0 is great for butchering smurfs. All of these can be turned on/off, but only one can be active at a time.

Edit: By DLC 0, it means they´re all on 'off'.

Edit 2: Also, switching between them, even if you´re just gonna play Wanted is often good when the wait is too long. They all seem to have full lobbies on different times of the day.

Hope this made sense, I left my vocabulary next door.

Some of you may not have heard of him or his videos, but I think CC4REAL (http://www.youtube.com/cc4real1) has some excellent videos on his channel. He has good videos for Wanted, Assassinate, and Manhunt. You should definitely check them out. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Oh, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'm able to differentiate between good/bad and like/don't like. It's just that if I'm in the mood to play something involving me trying to kill every moving object that passes through my field of view while running around like a tweaker at Track & Field Day, I won't bother putting the AC:B disc in my console.

My experiences with Assassinate might not have been representative, but since I've already got Wanted and Advanced Wanted to play in, I don't see any reason to check it out again. None of the game modes really do what they say on the tin, but Assassinate was one of the more blatant offenders in that regard.

Perfect sense, thanks. I'll poke around at it a bit once I get home.
