I have a video game idea for Ubi-goes like this:
************************************************
The time is 2009.

The location is Burkitt Island, a newly created artifical island for the United States as a replacement for military bases in the Far East. Created in friendly Taiwanese waters, it is the subject of controversey among many, including Muslim extermeists, who view Burkitt as a threat to their operations.

In Lyons, France, Andrey Beaupre has received a large monetary transaction to his business account. Beaupre is a French mercanary, who has just been paid to send 200 of his men to join 850 Muslim terrorists in an invasion of Burkitt Island, which is currently being maintained by only a few civilian contractors and less than 20 Marines.

Six weeks later, the assualt starts by air drops and shore landings. The next day, Marine Chief Warrant Officer Garrison Michaels and his elite squad of Recon Marines and Navy SEALs are briefed on the terrorist invasion as it is announced by television networks over the world. In response, the Marines prepare for an assualt of their own to retake Burkitt Island.

The mission starts badly. As 500 Recon Marines approach Burkitt in V-22 Ospreys, the mercanries and terrorists start firing on the Ospreys with AA fire-something not expected by the Marines, who are ordered to turn back. The first two Ospreys are shot down on the beach, and the 28 surviving Marines must fight for Burkitt and their lives.
************************************************
That's all I have. I have reviewed several game makers and decided on Ubi. Some of you may recognize me from Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory forums. While I am a SC fan, I also came to the forums to post this.

Any comments are welcome (I am not always present, so please wait for a response if you asked me something), but I would like Mods to talk to me since they seem to have the most Ubi influence. Thanks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That actually sound kinda cool...
If it's made, let's just hope Ubi doesent put any kind of bull---- in it (Mutant apes, mutant humans *cough* Far Cry *cough*) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. Its based on a book I'm writing. And don't worry, its all real.

I forgot some stuff:

If it works my way, you get to play as 4 different people-

Garrison Michaels-Marine-sniper/leader of a 4 man squad

Joseph Bell-Marine-radioman and spotter, who's job it is to call in support and spot targets using several techniques

Benjamin Hyatt-Navy SEAL-medic, who treats the wounded

James Halifax-Marine-team heavy machine gunner

Also, it would combine stealth, such as (this is in my book)a situation where the Marines have to kill a terrorist radioman and guards silently to reach the enemy HQ, but can only use knives becaus ammo is low and they need it for the main assualt.

There will also be parts where you have to make lots of noise, like (something also from my book) creating a distraction by destroying enemy vehicles with C4 while other Marines ambush terrorists who come to the aid of their vehicles.

It's pretty cool, everthing in my head.

I doubt that Ubi will accept it since you aren't hired by them.
It sounds cool thoughhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

lol. They don't randomly hire people that come up with an idea. The chances of this idea being made into a game are slim to none. And moderators don't have any UBI influence. We don't work for them.

Thanks for killing my hopes http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif. But that's okay, I wasn't expecting anything-I just wanted to throw it around. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I guess I know better now, but I don't care, it's cool. Thanks anyway...any comments are appriciated still, I like input on things from everybody http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
