Are you sure you have flyable planes, not AI only.

Hi E.O,
Thanks for your help.I filled in ""player"" and indeed it works!,4 stangs on the runway. My next step is: How do I add some B-17,s( AI) ???????
1. Already flying overhead.???
2. From the runway ???
Thanks in advance

Same way as for adding the 'Stangs.
Select the plane hit ctrl and left click on the map.
1. They are flying by default - set altitude and speed by "view object" click the waypoint tab and voila!
2 On runway - "view object" click the waypoint tab and set waypoint as takeoff.
Play with it mate, it won't bite ya! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Not too sure.
You placed the Mustangs as flyable right?
Now you're placing the B-17s as AI planes.
Everything should work normally. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif
Are you just using FMB or another external prog like QMT or manually editing the .mis file in a text editor?
S! Simon.

Hi E.O,
Yes I installed QMT (but couldn,t find it or see it till now). Also UQMG,which woks well(no normandy maps yet).So when you don,t fill-in ""Player"" it has to be AI????.I added the B-17(AI) after i made the mission and saved it.Did that yesterday with other objects and it was added all the time.
This is what I do:
1. VIEUW---Object
2. Set to homebase--create airbase
3. Set to aircraft--choose plane P-51 -waypoint take-off and create other waypoints( Do I have to safe this first????)
4. Set to aircraft again--choose B-17 with its own take-off and Waypoints
5.Safe mission

I can't understand what you're doing wrong.
Sorry.
Maybe you could post the contents of the mis file here.
(open it in notepad select all the text and copy and paste it here)
I'll take the mission home and look at it later for you if you like...?

There are two Mustang variants listed in the aircraft menu. Only the first one is flyable. Not sure of the designations off the top of my head - sorry. Make sure that you have selected the flyable one or that 'no cockpit' warning will show.
Cheers!
