Cloned officer

After much success as a U-Boat Captain (Lt.Sr),I just upgraded to the IXB, for extra firepower(6500 renown). On its first operation a strange occurance has happend. My most decorated officer has spawned a Double on patrol. I now have 6 officers, with what should be a max of 5, with two of them identical in every aspect.

Do these subs carry radioactive materials, or is this a big BUG! ?
