I really don't know where the problem is. Everyone seems to ben enraged about how you cannot man the gun when the wind is 7 knots and higher. This doesn't depend on the weather solely. There's actually another specialization that's only hard to see, it is called aquatic lungs. With this upgrade you can mount your guns in every weather:

My elite crew of aquarians (pun http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif) is using a new technique to hit enemy ships below the waterline:

Don't tried to fire it... yet. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gifI am laughing my **** off here!

Emerging from the depths with a look of steely determination in their eye...it would have made a nice propaganda poster.

I hope the developers can fix this. the other thing that bugs me is having to have crew on the bridge in very heavy seas. At least on higher difficulty, you should lose some of the watch crew when waves swamp the tower.

If you save and reload the problem should go. Or is it that the game assumes you're surfaced whenever you load a save, so you need to surface.. then dive again.. I forget!!

Actually ive had this happen while i'm at periscope depth, and all you have to do is reorder the depth youre currently at, the game pulls the crewmen back, and other than that there are no changes.

It is really interesting what you can do when one knows how to exploit the bugs. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I simply can't believe that after such a long wait, the "DU"ev team sent this game to the publisher with all these flaws/bugs/BS. It's a good thing there not trying to launch space shuttles. If it wasn't ready than they should have kept working! It would appear that everyone has paid their $39 whatever to be the BETA testers for this software. (I'm sure for most of the die hards it's still worth it) In my humble opinion, it's bad business. I'm currently still addicted to the IL2 series. It has it's bugs to but at least it didn't need a patch right out of the box, and nothing like i've seen here. As much as i'd like to enlist and join the pack, there's no chance i'll be buying now until I see the results of the much anticipated 1.2 version. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif Yeah....I'll quit crying now.

Well in beta tests there are rapid improvements. not so with SH3.

What you have is what you're stuck with until the "expansion!" woooooooooooooo!
