In the German Ubi Forum a Mod made an announcement
that Ubi finished the Patch & Dedi Server for the Linux system.
Now they found another error in the install file but they keep workin on it under high pressure.

Just one note (a bit out of topic).

IMAO Its some kind of way how to give respect to those who try work for FC-2 comunity, what could in some cases means a lot of work and also help to all others navigate where they can search for advices, information, friends etc. etc.

They`re pretty slow aren`t they? I guess they only have a skeleton crew on these patches?

I mean, how long does it take to make an installer work with all versions? It`s been at least a week now...

I can guarantee that it'll take at least a month for them to fix the installer. At the rate fc2 community is shrinking, I doubt there will be any player left to play this game online. lol

That God#@% patch, I doubt it ever comes, is only going to be some sort BS update I guarantee you. probably a weapon upgrade or some sort of crap like that. I bet it doesn't fix the real problems which I beleive are so dam complicated that UBI probably gave up on. They are just throwing us a bone and then they'll anounce no more patches.
