Help climbing Campanile de San Marco

This is the viewpoint in front of the Venice Doge residence and Assassin's Tomb.

Is this another viewpoint where I need to follow the main story to learn how to get to the top? Or is leap climb enough?

I've jumped from a nearby building to the tower, but after the first leap climb I can't reach the next window, and I can't seem to go around the tower corners.

I just finished this section last night. I did the same thing. Spent an hour trying to get further up the tower. What you need to do is continue the story.

You can not climb that view point until you have met Rosa. You will assist her in getting home and then you need to talk to her again. She will teach you how to climb a wall and jump up and grab for those longer distances you can't climb up otherwise.
