View Full Version : Am I the only one stuck with challenge achievement glitch?

I remember all the prepare & execute challenges were fully completed during my coop gameplay but the preparation master achievement didn't pop up at that time. I thought it may appear upon completing other challenges. I cleaned up all the challenges today and guess what? I got vanish master and even all round achievement except the preparation master. Now I am stuck at 970 gamerscores and it's even worse than the realistic campaign glitch.
Is there any chance Ubisoft will release another patch for these kind of glitches? I would rather kill myself than delete the save and start it all over again...

All right. Looks like I am the only one suffering from this glitch....

I have the same problem. I finished my Splinter Cell Challenges for the Best of the Best achievement after a round split screen co-op to get the Full Recovery challenge. The last challenges I needed for the catagory were advanced stealth/advanced hand to hand combat. When I finally got it playing solo on the washington monument stage, it awarded the achievement to the other profile logged in that wasn't even playing and not my main one with which I had done all of the work on the challenges with.
The secondary profile was just a BRAND NEW profile which had NOTHING done in the game at all before that co-op session. Somehow it stole my Best of the Best achievement, but when I look at it's PEC progress it's all completely empty, yet it has the achievement for full Splinter Cell challenge completion, whereas my main profile has 100% completion on the Splinter Cell challenge catagory and doesn't have the achievement. What gives?!!!
I also inadvertently triggered that other glitch that rewards the realistic difficulty completed achievement to co-op partners- the secondary profile got it when I exited multiplayer and that profile hadn't even started the story. There was some kind of data merging going on and I think these problems are related.
It's INCREDIBLY frustrating because I spent an entire evening working just on those challenges and practiced SO many times to get advanced stealth and advanced close combat. Poured at least 2 or 3 hours into that alone.
I tried clearing my cache, loading up game- tried completing a couple of the Splinter Cell PEC challenges again even though they showed completed. I even went and completed all the prepare and execute challenges to see if it might register when that related achievement was awarded, but even when I got Preparation Master it still didn't wake up and award me my Best of the Best achievement.
There isn't even a way I can clear my PEC progress to go back and do it over again even if I wanted to because PEC progress/Extra content unlocks etc are saved in U-Play and attached to my gamer profile online, not the save game, which I tried deleting.
I enjoyed the game a ton up until this happened, but after deciding to slave away and put myself to the test going after and obtaining really the hardest achievement in the game, I managed to pull it off. I was so pumped... then I realized I got gypped out of it by a glitch. I was going for 1000gs, but after this I feel like just putting the game on the shelf, even though I haven't done the co-op story which is supposed to be the most fun part. Ugh.

Dude, I had the EXACT same problem:
I was also trying to complete the full recovery challenge on split screen and was successful however I didn't realize that I wasn't online through xbox live which would have told me that my gamertag wasn't properly recovered. In short when I was awarded the achievement it was for a different account and to make matters worse the game saved and now I can't go back to redo it.
I tried to redo the challenge even though it was already complete but it won't award me with the achievement.
So now I have all of my challenges done but no achievement....
WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I really don't want to have to go back and do ALL of the challenges but I can't think of any other way!
