For christmas i recieved rainbow six vegas, I tried loading it up, it showed the ubisoft logo screen and the demon ware bit and the unreal technology after that it goes to the loading screen with the rainbow team running and then it locks/freezes, the music still plays but the loadinng icon just stays still, i tried waiting for a while but to no avail, after ten minutes the music was on a loop... so if anybody could help i will be very grateful and thankyou in advance

You'd probably get better results asking in the computer forum.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

welp... read the back of the box....

your graphics card is not supported by the game.. you need a card that can run shader model 3.0

sorry

the guys above are right. sadly...

if u stay within the ATI cards than u will need a card above x1600, but if u think about upgrading i would not settle for less than x1800 or x1900xt 512mb.

try to replace one of your xmas gifts for a new card. the rest of your machine is enaugh for that game.

If you can return the game... do.

You could use a new upgrade on the vid card... but if this is the sole reason for said upgrade it will leave you rather disappointed.

You need shader 3.0 supported vid card. Return the game if possible. Upgrading the video card just for this game will leave you wondering if it was worth it at its current state.

Its not a bad game but just makes you feel like *** knowing that the whole 3.0 issue is because it is a PORT and not built from the ground up.

Merry Xmas though.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

ok bringing up the dead here. I didnt want to start a new page just for the same question. Im running a new hp a1700n everything is fine except for the graphics card that I was planning to change anyways. now its got a PCI slot and I know I obviously need to have a card that can work with it.

My buddies are running BF2 and they say the 7300 will fix all my problems but I want to know form those who are playn Vegas what actually works.

Thanks for any info. I also attempted to look up the recomended list but found nothing.
