Greetings, fellow pilots.

I've been looking around here for a while, and I must say that I am very impressed that theres so many DIFFRENT posts regarding the very same issue, I believe this has lead to alot of confusion and misunderstanding, making people question their pc, so to clear things up a bit I'll explain a bit from what I've been understanding from the threads.

First off, I'd like to say that if you believe theres something wrong with your pc because you might not be able to connect to the online matches, you are most likely wrong, when I first purchased the game, it was working wery well, the online games are sweet, but what I have noticed, is that it's totally random whether you can connect or not(time of the day), this weekend I have played quite alot of matches, problem beeing that they are hard to find, and the servers live their own life.

The dmp issue appears to happen to us all when trying to look for a ranked match, no idea whats wrong, but im hoping that ubisoft is working on it, my greatest concern is that when calling the customer service, they talk as if theres something wrong with you and your stuff, which is absolutely not the case here...
So, please, next time you call them, and they tell you to check your stuff, open ports or whatever, confront them, just send them to this forum to see for themselves.

DO NOT screw over your pc trying to find a solution for these issues, they are ubisoft's issues, not yours.
While waiting for them to look into it, you could allways download Hamachi, after what I have understood, this lets you connect through LAN (also meaning you will not be prompted for a CD key?)

So, what does this mean?....This means you can throw your friends the very same disc that you used to install your game, and play toghether via hamachi, the game does not require a CD to play (just to install)
By all means, do it. (I haven't)
To me, this hurts bad, seeing that they havent thought this far, even with the delayed PC version.
In my head, this is a way to put some pressure on them, as they will not sell potentially as many copies as they would if they just looked into the problem and just told us that they have confirmed the issues beeing on their side.
It will eventually force them to work.

Roger that. Or ill just return it and wait in line for a J-10 in BF2. EA is the lesser of two evils.

I don't really want my money back, its a sweet game as i dont really give a flying f about the other small bugs and things, all i want is the online game to function properly (works once in a while), but tell you what..
If you manage to return the game for a refund, and still have the game installed, guess what, youve managed to get a free copy of the game, also if you just write down the cd key youll have it later for when the online works (IF that ever happens)
BUT, ubisoft will probably try to catch you in some way, but its gonna cost them alot of effort, but telling from the effort they have shown so far, youre gonna have a free copy if you just manage to throw the game back to the store for a refund, it's "piracy" though, but from what they have done to us so far, they deserve no less...
I'm not really that into piracy n stuff, but you know, just letting it out there :P
As i do want the majority of "victims" of ubisofts scam to take advantage of their poor attempts to make some easy $$, cause im also quite ****ed at them for doing this

Spread the word, or even better, make this a sticky :P (i know you forum managers agree!!)

At least you guys get a game, I get the dmp.exe as soon as I click on play. I have had the game for 4 days and have got no further, I have never even had the chance to play it.

My computer is a well spec'd Alienware M17 and is only 3 weeks old, so I question whether any of the problems raised rests with the individuals computers; the problems must rest with the program and Ubisoft.

I will give another 48 hours for news of the problems being sorted, then my disk will be returned to amazon.

I will never let Ubisoft darken my DVD drive again, I have learnt a lesson.

Yours, really unimpressed
