This may be an old question..forgive me if it is..but am I correct (or wrong) that nvidia geforce cards say...570, do now work in sli in this game? Just curious, Im thinking of getting a second one..but I thought some people were having problems with sli,,maybe its just the 590's. Thanks in advance.

SLI is messed up right now. You can make it work, but you'll get a lot of landscape flashes, other artifacts and micro stutters.
Not really worth trying right now. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Knucks, SLI is Nvidia's way of making two, or more video cards, work together in the same computer.
ATI's version is called Crossfire.

Dual GPU cards like the GTX590 or Radeon HD 6990 use the same techology.

Well..can only hope upcoming patches address this issue...however..if the game is optimized correctly, hopefully it wont be necessary to run out and get the second card, although 2.6 gigs of vram would be nice to be able to take advantage of in this game..thanks for the help!

Just a little note, SLI and Crossfire do not double the available VRAM for a game, the RAM for each card is still only available for that cards GPU, so as far as the game is concerned you will still have the 1.3gb of VRAM.

Thanks, well...not sure I know all the tech reasons why, maybe one gpu is handling the physics, etc..all I know is from relevant articles detailing the benchmarks of gtx 570 with and without sli, on a 3.7ghz machine..FPS almost double at 1920 resolution, so it must do something right. I'd RATHER just buy ONE fast card but the 590 is to the best of my knowledge just two graphics cards essentially running in sli, and has issues of its own. Maybe I should go radeon/asus/amd..or whoever is making those cards now..what i do know..is I have run across a game my system cant handle incredibly well, it plays CloD very well.but still room for improvement.
