HOMM5 Campaign 1 Mission 4

This has been annoying me all day long. Is anyone else getting bugged on mission 4 "The Trap" at the crypt where the levitaion boots are? (yes im fully patched, restarted, reinstalled, etc. blah blah blah lol)

It will not let me enter the crypt to fight the guards and get the boots.

I've been having the same problem. I've searched through all the posts I can find and this question has been asked a number of times but no fix has been made apparent.

To be clear:
Mission: The Trap -
After clearing the entire dungeon area around the crypt, where presumably the boots are, it is still not possible to enter the crypt and fight the guardians. Whenever I try to go "into" the crypt, I get the red "Jumping horse" icon one would expect, and then nothing. It doesn't matter how many times I attempt to get into it or from what direction. It simply won't let me in. It would really suck to have to start this mission over again to see if it works the next time around. All other objectives are complete except those that can't be done without the boots.

Please, someone help.
