Hello,

I'm having trouble witch Vegas 2. I like to play online, but it seems that the game this doesn't like http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I can't come much farther then this errors:

1. Connection witch lobby server lost (almost every time)
2. Failed to intaliaze network service (often)
3. Operation failed (much)

I want to get rid of this :S I have allready opened ports in my firewall and router, but it doesn't make any difference. Anybody can help me out?

My internet connection speed is 160KB/s down and 25KB/s up.

KillFreak

PS: If I host myself I have no trouble at all.

yeh, ive been having issues as well, either cannot log in, or once logged in cannot host a game, just re-installed the game,no change i think that punk buster is somehow part of this problem ,if you switch it off the success rate of loggin in ect improves, or appears to, others too, have been experiencing the same crap, ubicraps server is the problem too many games on the one server probably, plus a very badly produced game still get the "general protection fault history"crash bullsh*t and theve patched it 3 times wtf are they being paid for??? btw all ports that this crap game needs open are open so is pb as was before this new prob started the other day

I get the same log in issues.
It all started about the time fc2 was released. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

THAT ^ is your problem...

As much as I like to diss ubi when they mess things up, you can't blame them because you have a p*ss poor internet connection... Upgrade your internet connection to broadband instead of dialup, and you should see some improvement (although how much is debatable, because ubi netcode is about as usefu- nay, entertaining as sticking your nose in a paper bag full of wasps...)

Your connection speed is fine. Have you tried tuning on UPNP on your router and in the game?

Do you have issues with other games online?
