Im running a radeon x1300 on 32 bit vista, according to the detection summary thing my graphics driver is the only thing that isnt at minium requirements for this game, i've gone to the radeon site and downloaded the latest driver update but the detection summary still says my version is too low, but i can play anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple hours with no problems then the graphics go all crazy with black lines and warped graphics occuring making it so i cant even see which direction im facing, has anyone had this kind of problem, is it the driver or is it something else... any advice is welcome

I had a similar problem, it would start out as a back ground flicker then progress to the black lines and crash. The Catylist driver 7-8 for my x1600 fixed it for me, the latets driver is 7-10. 7-10 didnt work for me.
Good luck.

Sometimes, latest drivers on Old video cards may have an ill effect rather than an improvement but, your scenario seems to be more of a heat problem than driver problem... of course, I am a PC challenged guy so I might be talking out of my butt, yet again! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I'm running supposedly out of date drivers with no trouble.
I'd have to agree with Want2Snipe on the overheating, seeing as it works OK for a while. My experience with driver conflicts is that it either plain just doesn't work, or there's some graphical glitch from the start.
have you overclocked your PC in any way whatsoever?
