Ive just finished the singleplayer version for SCCT and want to get my online started but everytime i try to create an account for online it says: The service may be offline for co-op when i try do versus it says: There is a problem with the database. Now is there anything i can do about this or is it ubi's fault i cant get on? please help!

I have the same problem!! Please guys help us, I really wanna try the Co-op play!! =(

Maybe you get blocked by a firewall. Have you put splinter cell as an exception in windows firewall?
Do you run any other firewall-applications?
There are also som ports that need to be opened on your router (if you have any) in order for you to play scct online. On the ubisoft page go to support, and then chose pc-games and splinter cell chaos theory and there should be a thread there which tells you which ports you must open in order to play.
