Well, it depends on what part of the body is hit.
In my opinion, it should work like this:
1. Head - 1 shot. In extremely rare occasions, there would be a head wound (as in original GR), i.e. the bullet ricochets off the helmet or the shot is taken from beyond the weapon's effective range.
2. Torso - 1 shot/2 shots or more if the enemy is wearing body armor, and/or the shot is taken from beyond the weapon's effective range (assuming you hit the enemy twice or more times on the upper torso, which is not very likely to happen).
If the body armor absorbs the impact, the enemy is knocked off to the ground. But remember that only a very small amount of them would be wearing body armor.
3. Arms/Legs - Not sure how many shots should "kill" them... The "realistic" thing would be for them to stay alive until they lose too much blood, but that's probably too hard to simulate.
Shots in the right arm (considering the enemy is right-handed) should make them drop their weapon and run for cover.
Leg shots would eventually knock them off to the ground, and they would crawl/gimp for cover, depending on the severity of the wound.
*EDIT: Oops... Didn't realize each poll has a different question. Sorry.

Even if by some miracle of luck and/or act of God, you live, you will probably be unconcious for the remainder of the battle. Think of someone wrapping a sledgehammer in lots of wet towels, and then hitting you in the back of the head with it as hard as they can. While you're not looking. And asleep.

1 but up to 2 maybe depending on how powerfull the guns are.
One clean headshot should be enough but a "bad hit" can ricochet of the helmet.. don't think current helmets can take rifle rounds. Don't know about future helmets..

I'll have to go with 2 headshots just because of a rare occurance the the bullet may ricochet off the helmet. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

1 headshot. I don't care if the bullet miraculously (sp?) doesn't kill you on the spot, you may be able to survive it later on but in a firefight you sure as hell arn't getting up to shoot some more.
