As many of you know, I am a part of the California National Guard. I was deployed at the very beginning of September to New Orleans. I was based at a junior high school (Sophie B Wright Junior High) for the first two weeks I was there. For those who know the area, the school is in Orleans perish, off of St. Charles and Napoleon. basically, everything north of that area was pretty much flooded. Most of the houses were in pretty good order. Once we hit the ground, things got pretty quiet. We filled out over 11,000 FEMA reports on the houses in that area. We checked for gas leaks, water leaks, down powerlines, flood damage, and anything along those lines. After our two weeks, we moved to the 82nd Airborne's AO (area of operation) in Algiers and took over since they were going home. Shortly after, hurricane Rita brewed up. We rode out what little there was, and continued on. We got set up with relief organizations, law enforcement, and everyone else. At the time we entered algiers, there was roughly 1000 people. As we were moving out, over 30,000 were in the area. On 29 September, we packed up and started to come home.

The only sign of the existence of a god would be 10 more hurricances to hit the U.S.. Maybe that would knock some sense into everyone and the Frag Dolls would have to stop contributing to global-warming by wasting our fuel reserves on their meaningless trips across the country. Now there is an idea!

Everybody does what they do best. Leave the art to the artists, leave the games to the gamers, and leave the killing to the killers.
I suppose you would be one of those tree hugging fanatics. And I'm sure you've researched everything about global warming. So you know that making plasic does release harmful chemicals into the air. Where am I going with this? You have a computer, right? And I bet it's made of plastic. Plus, all those lovely chemicals inside the monitor. You know, the monitor you throw away when it stops working. Yea. It'll break. Releasing those lovely chemicals upon the world. Bad Heckler! Contributing to global warming. Worst of all! I KNOW you've driven a car (or at least gotten a ride in one). Or gotten on a bus at some point or another. Heck, I'm willing to bet even a plane at one point or another. Cry me a river, you're just as guilty at anyone else.
Whoever gets hit with the next hurricane like Katrina must know that men like me and my military brothers will be there to help.
I'm no hero, I'm just doing my job.

I think Heckler is right. But we are all guilty. You just can't live these days without being part of the problem, and that goes for you too Rocker.

I never said I wasn't a part of the problem. Heckler is pointing fingers, but he's just as bad as everyone else.
I'm not here to pass judgement. I don't care what you do, as long as it doesn't hurt me directly. The way I see it, Heckler wants to point fingers. The first person he should point at should be himself. Once he stops being a contributing factor, he can then point to others.
And at least I am willing to help clean up the mess I made. Is Heckler National Guard? Did Heckler take time out of his life to move bodies and clean up the rubble? Did Heckler hand out MREs to the starving people? Did he Hand out water? Did Heckler get medical help to the people who needed it? Somehow I doubt it.

*grumbles while grabbing for a magazine for M16A2*
Grr... lucky I don't have tha stuff anymore!
I'm quite proud to say I was there and I did my part. I can look back and say I was a part of history. I was in the first group to enter New Orleans. I was in the unit quickest to mobilize, and all the way in California. 48 hours to mobilize. Not too many Active duty units can gather 400+ men and move them out in 48 hours.
And ya know... I kinda like this Heckler guy. His pathetic attempts at belittling me are absolutely hilarious. That aside... I think Heckler needs something in his life to be proud of. Maybe the National Guard...

I think KCAL_Rocker has some issues. For one, a horrible case of ***** envy. He keeps going on and on about the size of his "combat" boot. I bet neither you OR your little boots have ever seen any "combat". And, he seems to have more hate in him than I do, wanting to "reach for his M16" like that. Were you going to shoot your cheap monitor? It must suck having to threaten those you are trying to help with a cap gun. "Here's your water and bandade, now back the **** off before I shoot your sorry ***!". Thank god for the relief effort! Also, why are you bragging about being in the least respected branch of the military? You must like being told what to do. Like add to global warming by making sure miserable people are kept alive so they can futher destroy the world once they heal. I did my part to save the world by sitting back and laughing at the people stupid enough to live below sea level on a coast line. Once they rebuild, only to have it destroyed again, I will be laughing then too. Your real special alright, a dime a dozen. They need to send your *** to Iraq since your so gung-ho about it.

Wow. Just wow.
I think this guy has the intelligence and attitude of a modder/whiny kid. Wait, I think that was a little redundant. Although, it seems a little oxymoronic to use intellegence and modder in the same sentence. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif
Maybe he just wants to break the record for most accounts banned in a day. O, wait he did that already. Silly me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Just what kind of "modder" are you talking about in such glowing terms?

My 'size 12 combat boots' met up with a looters skull, thank you. Wait... why am I bothering. This guy really needs a hug. Can someone give this guy a hug? Maybe something to take pride in throughout his life. Like I said... join the Guard. We mold men out of people like him.

And sorry to double post...
I volunteered for Iraq already. August of 2006.
What makes the grass grow? BLOOD! BLOOD! BRIGHT RED BLOOD!
What is the spirit of the bayonet? KILL! KILL! KILL WITHOUT MERCY!
What is the bayonet made of? STEEL! STEEL! COLD HARD STEEL!
There are two kinda of fighters, what are they?
THE QUICK AND THE DEAD!
What are you?
THE QUICK!
What are they?
THE DEAD!

I'm beginning to worry for you there pal... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif *watches k-cal rocker kill a cow with a bowie knife and eat the entire thing raw*
And for the hell of it I wear a size 12 as well, *handshake*. Course my boots are not for combat. It's likely if I ever heard gunshots they'd be pointed in the other direction.

If you hear gunshots, charge at them. You might get a confirmed kill.
