One of the most intelligent articles I've read in a LONG time and the very topic many of us have been screaming about since...well, since forever. Note the inclusion of Rainbow Six as one of the classics "around the turn of the century" (HINT: R6, Rogue Spear, Raven Shield).

UBI isn't paying attention. I also commented about this article in the thread Utter Failure. This article was great and details how trying to imitate COD is killing the FPS genre. Its sad that the Game Informer reveal article has UBI specifically describing how they are trying to mimic COD's model. As time goes on I fear that R6, as we once knew it in all it's past glory, has walked into the sunset like all great heroes.
