yeah, this worked for me. all the way up until they updated. steam caught on right when i was trying it. now, before they automatically update, they check your CD key again.

i have 3 emails from them. all say the CD key is in use. nothing about the feds on my back. freakin sweet.

I WAS SO CLOSE to having it... ah well. Halo 2 it is.

The only company I could ever pirate software from without feeling any guilt at all is EA. Mainly because they're the Wal-Mart of games.
