Yourshape Fitness Evolved is fun! (Xbox 360 Kinect)

I had the opportunity to play with Yourshape Fitness Evolved on the Xbox 360 at the Penny Arcade Expo and I was very impressed with the quality of this software and how well it worked with Kinect.

Many fitness games do not live up to the hype but in just 10 minutes with various tasks and the game seemed to excel past anything I've played with previously.
There was no delay and it felt like I was interacting in a real space.

I still have approximately 40lbs to lose so I'm looking forward to this to add some fun to my diet and excercise routine.

Totally agree with this now that I own a copy. The game literally turns your room into an interactive playspace! It is awesome to touch virtual menu buttons to your sides using arms and legs. Hehe, they have a simon says game that you play with your feet! Breaking virtual bricks is awesome.

I was skeptical that a game could give you a workout, but by the middle of the trials section I was literally cursing the virtual trainer. I was more ****ed when it rated and put me into the advance classes. /shakesfist...owwww

I got it today and the wife and I are very impressed on what it does and what it can do.
I'm also impressed on how it really works you. Pretty sore this afternoon!

Yes, I like it too..the Kinect technology allows the game to track your work better than other in-home solutions (eg. traditional workout videos or equipment.) I'm still getting used to the controls..for example..sometimes when I try to go to confirm I keep hitting the arrows (you need to move your hand in when moving between the two it seems.) It will be interesting to see what DLC is released in terms of other classes and workouts.
