can there be more than 1 person in the same map editing game at the same time like halos forge. so i can edit the same map with my friend who lives down the street etc.

I don't believe so since the map has to be exported for other people to play.

There is no way to co-op build a map at the same time. You can build a map and then send it to your friend so he can build it, but thats about as close as you will get to coop building. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

yeah this editor is a tad more advanced than turning into a little flying metal ball and moving crates about (mentioning no names)
