Hello this is aussiewarfare by the way.

I couldn't post messages on my other account so I registered a new one and I'm posting this message now.

How can I make a black and white movie like FB's intro?

AW,
I believe you can simply rename the track file in someway to force the B/W filter to be applied when the track is played back, but I'm not sure. Can anyone vouch for this?

Some software packages can do a B/W filter but that does not include the "aged" look of the intro movie. Those are different filters. Premiere can do the B/W right out of the box but I'm not sure about the aging. There are 3rd party filters for that but with a yearly budget of less than $0 for additional software, that's out of the question for me.

Well, do you know where I can get those filters?
If you look carefully at FB's intro you'll see tiny little white marks and browny lines going accross showing that the film has been kept for 40-50 years. I reckon that's really awesome. I'm making a film of Royal Australian Air Force P-40 pilot Richard Cresswell's fascinating dogfight over the South West Pacific shooting Japanese bombers down, no parachutes were seen as reported so I got to blow the bombers up in the sky while I'm making the film. lol

I'd just try a google search for "adobe premiere filters" or something similar. You might also add "film aging". I just did one and it got some results that look promising but I don't have time to cull through them. If you find anything free please post a link as every little bit helps.
