What's with all the whingers in multiplayer?

Fair ****um,I am trying to get into this whole online gaming thing for the first time and every 2 minutes someones voting for someone to be banned, filling up my screen with all this voting crap and why?, prob nothing more than someone whipping your weak butts. I noticed it's generally the guy coming second voting against the guy leading.

I FINALLY get into the lead in one deathmatch and for no reason, not even half way into it I get banned from the session. Grow up you bunch of rabbits.
I get my butt seriously kicked for 3 hours tonight lucky to get 1:1 ratio of kill to be killed. I finally get a good run and get banned.

agree fully the fc2 community on pc(in general...obviously doesn't apply to all) must be young or inexperienced, hax accusations are freely thrown and ignorant votes cast about petty issues, knowing full well the vote blocks their own teams view and distracts them.
I've also seen clans that teamstack in games to statpad, then after the obvious spawn camp and slaughter belittle their random opponents and then abuse them for leaving.

I dont mind playing a teamstacked clan myself i actually look for them because they usually have better quality players. But mocking your opponents and expecting them not to leave is childish.
As far as the hax accusations, i actually believe a lot of ppl are playing at high settings and thinking just because it runs smooth its good enough. I been playing games for years and from experience if my fps isnt sitting in the 90-100 frames area, the game feels sluggish.

Some games are just like that, I just ignore them, and always vote no on bans.
Some have asked me to kick somebody, but I’ve never done it yet.
Don’t give up, just find another game.

FC2 has been better for me than alot of other games by a long shot.

Yep, I was the same, always voted no, I wasn't playing that game with them.
That's what irked me the most was the screen getting filled with voting garbage. If only they spent more time just playing the damn game than they did trying to vote others out!

There was one guy called Viktor something and he was kicking butt, took me out MANY times, including a knife to the back when I was too busy shooting some other guy, well they kicked him too

When you say just find another game, not sure what you mean? When I logged on there only seemed to be one listing in the menu. I just went to deathmatch. I haven't tried any other game types yet.
Do I have to know anyone or be a member of a team to do a teams match or any other types of teams games?

Matty101, I agree on the FPS thing. I am getting around 60 FPS @ 1600*1200 with everything on second higest settings, and I wouldn't want it any slower, that's for sure.
Maybe that's why I got kicked, I was using the sniper rifle and popping them off one by one with head shots in a dark hideout I found, most went down in one bullet or 2, prob thought I was cheating or something......losers

That sounds like a bad deal, I am not happy when someone initiates a vote mid-match either. The best thing for a firefight is NOT a bunch of crap on your screen blocking you. There are way too many accusations of hackers, its to a paranoid conspiracy state half of the time now.

If you are a good player, I suggest checking out some Deathmatch servers as you dont get the mid-game voting.

As for only one server...sounds like you have not updated your FC2 game and you are finding an old server, probably to catch people who havent updated. My shortcut didnt point me through the updater; I had to do it myself.

If you have updated to 1.03, I wouldnt know why only one server showed up as there areseveral 24/7 dedicated servers. I even have one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Join server with voting "OFF", problem solved. Most well known servers/clans run with voting off for this reason. Also most clan servers normally have an admin on at all times and/or a very lengthy ban list to keep the immature peeps out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

When I was on a few hours ago there was def only one visible.

I need to read up on this as I'm new to online gaming. I certainly wouldn't say I'm a "good" player, but I get my share of good kills every now and again. I gotta learn to keep moving!

Oh, also Is it normal for me to not be able to save my upgrades when playing online? I have played 3 times now and each time I get my upgrades through playing I lose them the next time I go online??? It is not saving my stats either.

thafuriousone: I reckon when I work out why I can only see one server I'll be going that option.

My 8 year old son just played for a bit and he said "Dad, why is everyone trying to ban that guy" He then said "I don't want to ban anyone so more people can play" That was my 8 year old son saying this, even HE thinks all this voting is stupid, LOL!!

Are you choosing "player match" or "ranked match" when going online to play?

Player match = no diamonds will be saved in profile when leaving server.

Ranked match = everything you do is recorded on the master UBI server for your profile and upgrade will be available with every diamond received.

Either choice you make should realy show you about 10+ servers at any given time or are you choosing a specific game type?

What most do is choose player match or ranked match then choose join custom server then you will see ALL servers running ALL game modes then you can pick and choose as you wish from there as well as make needed filters.

some ppl can't let it go...some less populated areas may only have 2 good servers if your lucky, now imagine being banned off the only servers you get good ping to, then go play on a server on the other side of the planet and get treated like you can't play.

I figure just do what i did and make a montage Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dO4YjJEj4hM) and when they call hax, point em to the link and tell em to shove it.
