512mb Vs 1 gig ? [Archive]

Hi Guys,

Picked up my Copy at EB games on thursday(this sim rocks). http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif My only nitpick is the games loading
time(about 5 min for me) I have a P4 1.7 with 512mb
memory anybody with the same rig and more mem.
getting a faster start time?

Starforce problems= none for me (in fact if it was not for the 5.5sec disc check thiny I would not have known it was on my system)

i have an P4 3.0 with 2 GB ram..
louds at 30-40 sec...

so buy more ram..

It's not just the ram, as other components play a factor. (Hard drive, CPU, Motherboard, etc.) I have only 768MB of system ram, but my game loads in 28 seconds. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Wow Flyfinn thats a super rig you got there makes
my P4 1.7 look like a P3 LOL. my memory is maxed out
on my machine (no more slots) can i still get a mem.
upgrade?

I forgot to mention my system specs. 28 seconds is from the moment I click the desktop shortcut. (includes disk check too) Actual load times in the game are around 12 seconds.

2 disc on raid 0 help a lot to improve time of loading games
