Sounds like a good idea, but it's not going to happen seeing as the games gone gold so they can't hold it back anymore. Maybe in a DLC but I would prefer something more substantial.

No. I don't think Sam is much of a thrower more of grabber.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

Uh, also why would he need throwing knives when he can take them out from close range with krav maga, or just shoot them with a silenced pistol if he's further out?

There should be an option "This post is stupid..." Are you serious, throwing knives?

Throwing knives would be kinda cool, but they have ABSOLUTELY no place in splinter cell, no hell no.

Neither does M&E or Sonar goggles. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif Might as well go all out if this is going to be a hollywood action movie.

I agree about M&E, but Sonar goggles are cool, but way too overpowered and need a big nerf.

I mean, the only type of person the NEEDS M&E are the nubs that can't get a headshot to save their life. Sonar goggles are cool, but cheap.

Right I'm fine with better shooting but M&E makes the game look ridiculous and unrealistic and takes away from what being a Splinter Cell was.

Splinter cell was challenging, it may still be in some areas, but in most areas I'd think it's safe to say it'll never be as hard as the previous games.

No. They are far less efficient or deadly than a simple handgun and therefore tactically pointless.

Same thing could be said about a pistol compared to a rifle but that didn't stop them from making Sam James Bond with a pistol.

M&E isn't the same kind of foolishness that throwing knives would be in a game that has silenced handguns and long guns. Also I've explained this before but M&E isn't that unrealistic. All M&E is is target transitioning which is trained in many agencies and something that I know for a fact I can do with my handguns. Also when Sam shoots from his waist he's doing it from a short distance. A good shooter can learn fairly quickly how to hit a target without looking down the sights. Buy a good gas blowback airsoft gun if you don't believe me and train with that.

The pistol accuracy just feels really high now (I don't remember headshots being that easy).
As for throwing knives...no. Sam doesn't seem like the knife-throwing type anyway, but when you have the pistol, they'd be pretty pointless. I am a fan of the knife, though (I don't really ever use it, but it looks nifty http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif).

Exactly. Whenever I play the game, M&E has a realistic range limit. Maybe I'm playing it incorrectly, since everyone else can take out the entire level from one spot, apparently.
Throwing knives would be redundant and underpowered when you consider you have a pistol that is just a quiet.
