Nothing happens, your team always comes back full strength after every mission.

Actually, I heard someone else(probably on the gearbox site) complaining about the fire team leader getting himself killed. I dont know if desola is the fireteam leader though (I dont have the game yet http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif)

Red is the Fire team leader and Corrian is the Assault Team leader.

YES. So it's not just me. Hartsock (Red, Fire TL) is a freaking bullet magnet for me. It seems like I have to hold his hand. It's like he goes out of his way to try and get shot. Stupidest ****, too. I'll send the Fire Team to a spot of cover. But Hartsock is always the one who has the most trouble getting to that cover, actually USING that cover, and not just standing out in the clear open shooting at the enemy. He does it all the **** time and it drives me nuts. Nice to see it's not just me. Anyway, I guess it's just some sort of bug with the path finding AI.
Another guy for me who excels at getting shot is Courtland on the Assault Team, though he's not as bad as Hartsock. No one's as bad as Hartsock.
I never had much problem with Desola. He seemed to only get wounded when I knew I made a mistake of some sort. Unlike Hartsock, who it seemed had some sort of sado-masochistc urge to get shot and piss me off. In fact, for me, there were 4 truly dependable guys in the game who never had AI problems with doing what I ordered them to do. Garnett, Allen, Desola, and Corrion. Which is ironic, considering that the game takes three of them away from you. Thank God for Corrion.
I about choked when Hartsock got promoted at the end. Felt like the game was making fun of me. lol.

I never had any trouble with sending my men to cover...?
I never noticed red going out of his way to get shot... I always thought he acted like the rest of the fire team ('cept he has a BAR).
Anyways, it's likely the reason Desola dies so often is because the assault team is usually the one out in the open, taking risks, and Desola is always right behind Corrion. Since by the time the Germans have noticed Corrion he's behind cover, they just shoot the guy right behind him.
That's my theory at least. He never died frequently for me.

This "They are my family" attitude sucks, I didnt care if my men died, they were in next mission anyway.

i havent had any problem with the ai of my troops untill they started to get stuck on obstacles. and yea the brotehr hood bit wasnt as good as i thought it would be because u dont spend any time with your troops, i think that would change it allot, but i do wish the producers could have made it so when they died they didnt come back but still have the sinimatics for it, because every time u play the game it aint the same that way, and i havo no idead how they would do it but hey, technology is going pretty quik, so hopefully sooner or later they will be able to do that
