So we were playing in Monteriggioni yesterday, first round we were killing.
I don't remember the players' names in the other team, but of course I wouldn't tell if I did.
Two of the players decided to run like idiots; the other two decided to hide in the tunnel glitch near the church - we could see their feet, but we were careful not to start chases.
Round 2 starts, so we're hiding.
We leg it to the well tunnel, hide in there. We could hear running above us, and they were dumb enough to kill at least one civilian. Finally, one of them finds us in the well... our random teammate drops a smoke, gets a stun, and we all... quit the game at the same time.

Probably won't teach them a lesson though.
And thanks to our random teammate whose name I don't remember, who was happy to deal with them in the way we suggested.

But why all quit? It's hard enough to find a game these days. Plus, we've all been rookies... no need to ridicule today's new players, right?

starving the other team for points in stupid. Anyways this isnt that bad compared to what some of us have seen in manhunt.

I'm thinking they quit because the other team was cheating.

Rookies would not know about the glitch and attempt to exploit it.

Really? When they were trying to do the same to us???

Thank you, Ripe.Claw. Perhaps this point wasn't obvious enough in my original post. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

This was actually the second game we ran into him that he did this. The first he was all proud of himself going "dood they couldnt find me" in which I promptly put him in his place and told him I had no desire to either give him the free stun or kill them and get stuck in the glitch unable to kill the entire round so I was simply guarding so neither of their 2 loser friends could join them in there.
We really need to have an off site count of losers who deserve shaming. I thoroughly disagree with the idea of no naming and shaming because it allows stupid players who intentionally try to ruin the game for others to be unaccountable for their shameful actions. I've had the same scumbag steal 6 poisons in 2 games from his other teammates. He's been told off many times before and is too fricken selfish to care. This is who we are protecting? These bottom feeding low-lives who are the scum of society? As much as I'd love to I will not name names as the forum rules mandate.

^ This. ^
I wasn't aware prior to the "Manhunt Moron" match that this player had done it before, but as indulgence (who was one of the people on my team) pointed out in no uncertain terms, we were fully justified in quitting the game when we did.
Why feed the trolls?

Hey guys... Want to know a neat thing about the "no naming and shaming" rule?
How many of us forum members have been accused of cheating/hacking/glitching/lag-switching when all we're doing is playing well and having the same lag-related issues as everyone else?
How many of you legitimate players would like to be targeted by people publicly denouncing you as a cheat?
I'd rather they protect the innocent than punish the guilty in a situation like this one. Allowing everyone to openly air their grievances and accuse people of cheating is just asking for witch-hunts. The wrong people will be shouted down, and thrown out of the community for "cheating" - when they did nothing wrong.
How many of you want to see Kristian shouted out of the community and accused of cheating until he quits? How many want Rainie, or Shenmue, or Nitrox, to just give up because of people saying they cheat?
That's what happens when you allow people to complain. There's no middle ground, unfortunately.

indulgence82: Hey you!
H4v0k: Me?
indulgence82: Yes you noob!
H4v0k: Urgh... Yea?
indulgence82: Stop stealing my poisons you noob!
H4v0k: Urgh, no bro I payed my $90 AUD leave me the **** alone and let me play the way I want to play. If you have a problem then take your own initiative and leave!
*************
No sympathy for you! What **** brings poison two games in a row against a trigger happy team mate then expects us to want to hear about it and feel sorry for you and secondly look down on someone else.

My friend and I were playing Escort last night. In the second round, when we were hunting the VIPs, we climbed into the glitch room. When one of our pursuers was close, we started closing the chase gates.
Their reaction was a triple-take. POLTERGEISTS!
They got a lot of checkpoint points.

People like that, I don't have sympathy for.
What you SHOULD do is this:
obliviondoll: You know that symbol means the guy's Poisoned, right?
other guy: Poison? What?
obliviondoll: It means you shouldn't kill him. I get heaps of points for the team if you leave him alone. Your kill isn't going to help us win as much as mine.
other guy: But what if he stuns me?
obliviondoll: When he's Poisoned, he can't stun you.
or THIS:
obliviondoll: You know that symbol means the target is Poisoned, right?
other guy: Yes, but I don't care.
obliviondoll: Guess I won't be using Poison around you any more then. Thanks for letting me know.
Or, as happened once before:
obliviondoll: You know that symbol means the target is Poisoned, right?
other guy: *&#$ YOU! @*&$ ^@&#@## $#$@( @#$*$&@# $^$&@*#@ *&#^ !#@* !^#@& #^*!&#!& #^#@* &^!@ &#*% !@*&# ^!@&*^#* @%!@#

i kinda named and shamed a few people a while back and i didnt even get told off or anything.
I put in the player appreciation thread and i told them "I appreciate their stupidity and ability to want to be idiots" and then i put their names.
there are loopholes in everything
