hi guys,
i have this problem. i installed Ghost Recon 2. everything went fine. all checked out in the test after installation. so i run the game. go as far as launching mission. when i launch it (the first one "search and destroy" or something) i see the first images. they are all messed up and cut. it goes like that for few secs and then quits unexpectidly with this error message:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tue Sep 04 13:25:01 2007
Crash in application version: 29980.2562
Vertex buffer Lock returned null pointer. Out of memory?
Renderer: threaded

Crash in application version: 29980.2562
Could not load dynamic geometry because IDirect3D9::CreateVertexBuffer failed.
Direct3D does not have enough display memory to perform the operation.

Crash in application version: 29980.2562
Could not load indices because IDirect3D9::CreateIndexBuffer failed.
This device does not support the queried technique.
Renderer: threaded

my system specs are:
OS: WinXP Pro SP2
CPU: 2.4 Ghz
RAM: 2 Gb
Graphic card: nVidia GeForce 7600 GT (latest drivers)
and the latest DirectX 9.0c
so everything seems to be in order but oddly enough it isn't . anyone might know where is the flaw? seems like a driver problem? or should i patch the game?
thanks!
peter
