HELP PLEASE

well i got my copy of SCDA today and installed it patched it and then ran it. I played the first mission in which sam had this weird shadow thing around him that looked ugly then, i cranked up the settings to the max, 4xAA and 8xAf, with everything else high, and this is what i get on the second mission.

Also whenever i do select cusomize settings it does not stick and next time i go to change it it is back to next gen.
My system specs are Pentium D 3.2ghz, 8800GTS 640mb, 2gb DDr2 ram at 533Mhz, audigy 2 ZS.

I want to know what is going on and how to fix it. This game seems really cool and i would hate to not be able to play it cause of some weird glitch.
My vid driver is 158.27, i tried the 162.18 a little and had even more odd problems such as everything being transparent.

Turn the settings right down. You don't meet the recommended system requirements, which means you will have some trouble with this game especially if you try to run it on high settings. Also, the 8800 is not technically supported by this game, I have heard of many other problems involving this card. Lastly, this game is buggy as hell for PC anyway; while there have been many people who have played it with no problems, the majority of players are going to experience some kind of bug, from minor annoyances to major gamebreakers. Sounds like you got somewhere in the middle. My advice is to download all the patches and turn the settings down. If that doesn't help, you'll have to ask someone else. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

It's not worth the cost of the console AND the game, especially since he already has it on PC and I doubt he'd be able to take it back now.

If you don't have CT and DA continues to not work, buy CT.

dude u realy need to see if ur computer meets the minimum Sistem requirements, download the demo or see on the back of the game if the game works good on ur computer.
Dont waste Dollars (or ur country coin) on a game u cant run.
