The original, hands down no contest. Stealth action redefined - hell yes!

The first was cool, so was CT... but there would be no SCCT without SC... So SC was more important... Pandora currently my lowest score...

SCDA! The daylight missions were the best...cause you actually had to HIDE.

DA singleplayer on XBox was my favorite single player mode. But then again none of us would be here without SC so it's hard to say really.

Hmm favourite so far...

I think SC had the best storyline, Chaos Theory had the best action moments (rushing to stop the launch of that missile, anyone?), and Double Agent had the best character stuff by a long shot.

Then again, I did love a lot of Pandora Tomorrow, the train level, Jerusalem ("Lambert, what did I just do?" "What had to be done..." "Felt an awful lot like terrorism." "Shut up, Fisher, just shut up!" Apologies for the paraphrasing)

It's between the first and 3rd.... FIrst was absolutely amazing. The story line was probably the best in my eyes.

The third was that amazing re-furbishment of the series. New moves, more freedom, better graphics, and an absolutely amazing Multiplayer game to boot. Although it's story line just wasn't as "WOW!" as the first. But IMO none of them have been since the first one.

Of course PT wasn't real bad... It had the first real "DA-style decision" to be made...

No PT wasn't really bad. It just felt a little re-hashed with the whole: Latin american terrorist using biological weapons to rule the world! Just seemed a little recycled in my eyes from various B-movies. Although the game itself wasn't bad I just liked the whole information warfare thing in SC1 and 3

PT's my 2nd favorite. CT my least favorite.

Latin American? Wasn't Sadono from Indonesia?

Nothing felt more "straight out of a hollywood script" to me than the end of the Bathhouse.

@ Agent: You may be right. It has been well over a year since I played that game.

@ Insanity: While it is true that it was one of those over-used moments you see again and again I felt the dialouge was very deep and thought provoking. I was refering to the overall plot not individual scenes.

my favorite thing to do in pt was the swat turn they should have kept that in the other splinter cells

Yeah, I missed the SWAT turn too. The Bathhouse ending was quite cliched hollywood, but cool to have a chance to play a scene like that out in a game, and doubly cool given who it was. All the stuff with Shetland in CT was brilliant.

The decision is also made more difficult because the storyline is influenced by events from others... few examples: in PT, it's the first time ISDF is mentioned (In the scrolling bar beneath a newsflash)... you don't feel like it's of any importance, and in CT, it's a major theme... Great stuff, it makes the whole universe feel like a "real world"... Then I remember from SC, that cutscene in a FNW-report, a woman "dragging" her child away from gazing at a soldier... the face isn't recognizable, but the way she stands says all... Great stuff...

I think I like the first one most...

I think I didn't notice whatever it is you're referring to here. Given the way she stands, who is the woman?
