why is it our friends in japan can kick or bar a player in their ranked rooms? i cannot kick players from my ranked rooms.

one of them was able to shoot me down, but they kicked me from a ranked game, in game, weird.

Are you sure they are ranked matches?

I have heard of a few guys say this has happened to them. I cant say that it has happened to me unless when I get the session is not available? Is that getting booted? I just assumed my great internet connection has lost conectivity to the PS Network.(yet again) I have a few of the Japanese players on my friends list I will ask them if they have that option... May be they will tell me.

I think they just reciently got the game and want to get cought up with us before they play us. LOL

I have seen them on line but never found them in a match... I know there are a handfull of them in Clan Chimera 208-88 that play BA2. They were all good in BA1 so I am hoping they can bring some good games to BA2... We all know that some good competition is needed to bring life back into the game... It is starting to get old...

i'm sure it was a ranked match, i even remember the hosts name: farminator or something similar. The strangest thing is he could kick me in the middle of a game, not in the lobby.

Ok... that is "ODD" we will have to do some digging and see whats up there...

That is complete BULL if they can do that... Especially in the middle of a game. Seems like the Asian countrys have some sort of advantage in the gameplay.

Like I said I will ask the two on my friends list to see if they have something like that... My guess is if they do they will not tell being we dont have that option...

the room was extremely laggy... I'm thinking one of them was host.... I'm sure my ping is not great to the island... my guess is theirs is not great to a US hosted room either... may be problematic.

from what i've seen there's a good bunch of pilots from japan, still my first match on BA2 was against player4574, i stuck it out and learnt a few things, mainly how to crash and burn! lol

I agree I swear my first 100 matches were against BeatU4SureSolo... I didnt know her and was getting my butt whooped... I kept going back because I couldnt believe that I was that bad... lol She showed me no mercey... I think I started BA2 with a negative 5 star rating.... lol but playing good players like that definately make you better...

Stickeyhacker10 with his BF 109 w/HVC and flak gun is "TOP" notch... But playing him I have learned how to survive against the BF's (somewhat) HVC and flak guns...

Stickyhacker10 beat me in 1v1 with that in a 10 minute match
Stickyhacker 15 kills - 13 deaths - 12 score
OTTO44 10 kills - 15 deaths - 10 score

He crashed 3 times tryin to get me with the flak gun... (his only flaw) What the score doesnt show is how hard it was to get 10 kills against a GREAT HVC shootin player... He is so fast to target and KILL that its is next to impossible to get into a turning battle with him... Then when you do... Flak gun... He is definately one of the best....

Most any other player in the Bf 109 I can have a positive kill ratio against.... I think there are a very select few that are that consistantly deadly with that plane... Shadow you are one of the few... Fullmetaljack use to be (dont see him much anymore) and Disidious(sp) is getting real good with it...

OH and have you guys seen BeatU4SureSolo is now in the BF-109 and using the HVC... GRrrrEAaaaT....

player4574 is a blast... I miss him he added color comentary to the matchs... (the Ambassador)Then there is hitter breaking up with his chicks and them cryin... never mind got side tracked.... lol

Ok Shadow here is the scoop I got....

Hayate did get back to me and he swears that there is no option like that available to them either... I think KFAM may be on to it with the connection...

Hayate actually said that he has the same thing happen to him... So may be it will be a constant problem with connection issues... I hope not the squad matches in BA1 are and were a blast with the Chimera 208-88 clan....

By the way hayate has the best communication skills with us.(English speaking) He would be a good contact person for their clan. He speaks English well and understands the culture barrier so he is not easily offended by a comment not ment to but in a different culture is taken way differently... Like I called Solo a "CHICK" one day... A chick to me is a HOT Cool girl...lol In China "Chick" is actually disrespectfull... MY BAD....lol

Why do I have to learn everything the hard way... Go ahead KFAM I left myself wide open there...

The bad part Shadow is I don't think it has to be your connection. From what I gather is can be the host that has a terrible connection and all suffer. That is why I do not host any games where there can be more than 2-4 players in....

Also even if you have a high speed connection you can still be brought down by someone in the room with a slow one. xtimetoplay has a 10MB connection and he should never lag. In games when someone else is lagging he gets it to... We have noticed this even when he is hosting the game.


From what I gather if you host a game for BA the game is hosted on YOUR PS3... Do you see where the problems can come from then? If the game is hosted in the USA and you are on there (I cant remember where you said your from... England???) and a guy from Japan is on also... All that information is going to and from the USA host. Even if it only takes a second to travel from and to you are looking at a 2 to 3 second lag per person... Enough to make it miserable...

What is needed is a central server... If all games had dedicated servers through either PSN or the company that produced the game a lot of these issues would be alleviated...


I have been looking into a High Speed Server to connect all our games through but they are not cheep... I guess if I can dig up more info I will get back to all you guys and may be we can rent one together... One server can host multiple games and many of us (PS3 users) could actually utilize it... From what i get so far if 10 of us players rentded this server all ten of us have access to it and can host 10 different games. (they would not be limitded to BA) Does that make any sense? I will let you all know when I find out a bit more...
