Here's the problem. I'm trying to run the HV demo on a Mac by using their new Bootcamp tool to run Windows. I have read from the Mac Heroes site that this should be possible, and the reviewer pulled it off without any problem and the game ran great. For me, Windows loaded fine, the demo loaded...but upon trying to run the demo i get this message:
"program failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. reintalling the software may fix the problem."
it didn't fix the problem. I loaded it three times, from different demos DLed from different sites. same problem. When i intalled and played the demo on an actual Windows PC a few weeks ago, i did not get this error message, and the demo ran (slowly, but it ran) until trying to load a map and crashing.
so...does anyone know why i would get this error message and how i can fix it?
Also, when I installed Windows onto my Mac, I used a Windows disc with Service Pack 1 and not Service Pack 2. Could that be an issue?
I'll post a log as soon as i can.
