You could start by looking in the *.cfg and *.sim files for the submarines that you want to change. You can open the *.cfg file with notepad, but you will need Silent 3ditor by Skywas to open the *.sim files. You can find it at the following link:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroo...wthread.php?t=119571 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119571)
Make sure you make backup copies of the original files before you attempt to change them, or better yet, make copies of the files and modify them and use JSGME to install the mods. That way you can test your changes a lot easier and safer.

Open the *.sim file for the submarine you want to change. Go down the list on the left hand side till you come to "unit_Submarine", double click on it. Go down the "Property Tree" to "unit_Ship", usually the first item. Click on the "Plus" sign, go down to "Propulsion", click on the "Plus" sign. There you will see "max_speed".
Also, the "E_propulsion" is your submerged max speed. Make your changes and save.
