HELP!!!!!

Okays so here's the deal. I finally got a new PC and decided to start playing CT again. (Yeah I know its been a while) anyways single player runs omgzors smooth but versus wont run at all. It gets to the ESRB screen and just freezes. If I get lucky enough to pass the ESRB screen, my mouse is so choppy I can't even play.

PC Specs:
-Intel Core Duo 2.0GHz (T2500)
-2GB DDR2 (667MHz)
-ATI X1600 512MB (using hypermemory)
-100GB 7200rpm SATA HD
-Win XP Pro

set AlternateTimer to the other value (some of the ini's)

I'm not really sure how this will help but i will check it out when i get home. Any other sugestions. I was thinking maybe un-install again, re-install but this time use each patch seperatly instaed of the auto update 1.00-1.05

i don't know if the alternate timer is the problem or solution since he said it is freezing up a the ESRB screen. He can give it a try thou.

ESRB screen? Just launch Versus directly from the executable.

Versus has an ESRB screen as well.

OMG scworld I love you!!! It works i changed it from false to true and it works!! UBI is soo stupid lmao. Thanks you all!

PS: Kix.Ck i always do it that way, i have a shortcut to it on my desktop http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif AND acdx you are correct, thats where it was freezing.
