How do I get from Central Hall to life upgrade where Golem throws exploding beasts

Hi,
I have all the life upgrades bar one - the one where the Golem was throwing the exploding beasts. I have completed all levels prior to going for the mask but want to get the water sword and think I need this last upgrade.

When you arrive at the place where the brute(golem)was throwing the exploding beast,go to the left.You will find a cracked wall at the end.Stand there and wait until the brute throws the exploding beast and quickly roll in any directions to avoid getting hurt.The wall should explode,if not stand very near to the wall and wait until the brute throws the beast again.The life upgrade should be in that cracked wall. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I know where to get the life - I just can't get from the CENTRAL HALL to the place where the Golem throws the exploding beasts. I have the scorpion(?) sword for breaking walls if that helps anyone in giving directions.

That was in the Clockwork and Gears. Mechanical Pit. (Present)

There is a point late in the game (bug or by intentional design?) where the doors to the time warp portal rooms are closed. The best door that is closed is the door at the top of the ledge in the room with the water spillway and its broken metal gadgets that used to sweep along the spillway.

Late in the game, you might not be able to return to that time and location.

There are other such time and locations that are inaccessible after being the SandWraith. Your best bet is to restore from a save point before you were the SandWraith.

I have not yet become the sandwraith - I held back from getting the mask etc. as I wish to get my ninth life upgrade first. Any idea if I can get back without having to reload further back in the game?

You must be able to reach it!

You have to backtrack to the area with the fireplace. It is where you first fought a golem and later fought dogs that help you blow up and open a doorway. Then you crawl under the rotating "chairlift" through the water and you will find a doorway there. If you follow the path there that you did earlier, you will finally reach the area with the bomb throwing giant.
After you found the upgrade you can get trouble. If you are on the XBOX you might have a problem. On the PC there will be no problems.
But remember, this is the longest backtrack of all lifeupgrades! A description of all you have to do is hardly impossible, it's too much. You simply have to redo almost of the mechanical tower....

Thanks for the pointers - I eventually got back and gained the life upgrade.

ONLY ONE PROBLEM NOW... I thought I was getting the final life upgrade but it seems I missed one - can anyone list all the upgrade locations so that I can identify the one I missed?

I assume (correct me if I'm wrong) that the nine upgrades give me a full double health bar?

Yes, if you have all upgrades you have a double life bar:
