I'm in the second watertower. Dahaka just killed the crow guy. I run around the cornr, slide down a ladder and swing across to a cliff. Where do I go next before Dahaka kills me?

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ok this is the hardest chase ever in this game. it took me three times to do this. after you swing on the last bar jump off it and go on the peice of land then run on the right wall, now run straight then run wall on the left and do that again then run the hallways as fast as you can and no slowing time it dosen't work on the dahaka, remember hes the keeper of time... now when you come to a rounded cliff you can run across the wall to the ladderand then run asross that wall don't stop running, now you will have to run across walls jup ledges and also then the last thing run into the portal room and then you will hear the dahaka roar with madness that you got away and you are safe!!!!!!!
its a releif right, god

Which portal room. I run around the place however I dont see any portal room. Can you please give exact location after running in halls and doing the wall run while Dahaka is after me.
Thank you,

To run away from the Dahaka and get to the portal...
Run along the right wall to the ladder. Descend the ladder and jump to the bar. Swing from bar to bar to the far walkway.
Go to the right side and run along the left wall and into the hallway. Run along the left wall to the platform.
Run along the left wall again and drop down in front of the doorway. Exit and run along the left wall to the ladder. Descend the ladder.
Run along the right wall to the platform containing the barrels, break a barrel to get past.
Pull up the ledge. Turn around the right corner and run along the left wall to reach the next ledge. Shimmy to the right so you can pull up beyond the barrel. Break the barrels to open the route. Follow the only path through a series of turns until you face a gap around a left corner.
Run along the right wall to the rope. Swing from the rope and run to the far platform.
Run to the edge and leap to the ladder. Descend the ladder.
Follow the hall through the wall of water into the time travel portal. Activate the portal using the wall switches.
Hope this helps...

I know where we are when you speak about "shimmying along past the barrel, then haul yourself up" and run around the bend till you see the gap to your left. At that point you`ve lost me - I see no rope or ladder along the right wall, and a balcony railing makes running along the right wall difficult anyway.
What "right wall" are you talking about? Please orient me at the 'gap to the left'... I`m stuck in a major and frustrating way.
I`ve tried jumping that from that gap repeatedly with no luck - there is a rope (I think) across the way, but I can`t get to it.

wehn you quickly shimmy to the right and get up, smash one
of the barrels in front of you, and just keep fallowing the hallway, then turn left...you will notice an open area. On the right side of it there is a rope...like shown on the picture...

Okay - I was trying to go right along the wall prior to the 'gap ledge'... you have to move left and then turn left again to run along that right wall with the rope on it. Didn`t think going left would take you anywhere besides closer to the gap. Got ya, thanks.
Now at least I`m stuck elsewhere (grin).

is that true that slowing down time doesn't help you in the dahaka chases? i was pretty sure it did...have i been wasting all my sand tanks for no reason??

Yes and no. Once you've played the game a few times, or redone a chase a few times, you get to know what to do, and it's not that hard anymore, and you don't need to use sand.
I never do, and only did a handful of times when i first started playing it.
I do feel it's a bit of a waste, especially when you know what you're doing.
Always try without sands. You'll need them for more important things.
