SCF - Server Cheat Free

On July 13. 2005 a new Anti Cheat Tool was released by ShiLKa and the [SIG]Clan (SCF, which means Server Cheat Free).
The reason why it was made?
Like in nearly every ego-shooter there are also in Far cry cheats, which influence the performance of its user the way he has several advantages compared to honest players.
Therefore cheat users are spoiling the party of many fair-minded players and it became time, to develop a tool which prevents the malpractice of many actual cheats.
The installation is very easy. After the download just run the installer.
Far cry will start automatically after the installation.
You will then be able to make your choice in a DOS window:
Start Far cry in the normal mod or in SCF mod.
In the normal mod you won’t be able to play on SCF servers. These servers will be indicated by the letters SCF.
SCF servers will be setup by many clans in the following weeks and be your first choice for sure because all players will have equal chances.

Server Admins who want to create a SCF server can download the files and the necessary pb changes (pbsv.cfg and pbsvuser.cfg new files).

Exclamation For security write a PM to Füsilier or ctsfinanz or shilka to receive the files. you receive then the downloadlink, we dont like to give a public download.

Hey Rubin21, I really hope this works out as well as intended. I am really sick of trying to play an honest game with these weak-minded few running around.

I am not a server admin, but would really like to get more info on this tool. I tried going to the link in your earlier post, but unfortunately the site is not in English!

Can you tell me who to email or a link to go to that will explain more about SCF?

Security by obscurity is a dead end. All you have to do is ask and you can get the PB config to stop the phaez hack.

And you will get kicked by PB in cases where PB is configured to check for hack explioting the same feature that SCF does.

The new SCF is ready and tested now.

We will release it today or tomorrow.
Client pak with all files and Server pak with all files and pb files .

Changes -

works as MOD
if somebody has wrong files FarCry wont start - wood.pak is not allowed.
