SLI Problems PF+FB+AEP

I'm getting some major artifacts in PF+FB+AEP when in SLI mode...I have (2) eVGA 6800 GTs and I get worse performance then when I have only (1) 6800 GT in there?? Doesn't make any sense. Tried both 66.93 and 71.84 forceware drivers from NVIDIA. Anybody else having similiar issues?

Does PF even support SLI? It should, shouldn't it?

IL2FB is working in LSI mode.

I read a test somewhere in a Hardware forum. Sorry I do not have the name...

If I remember well it works only with the new (Beta those days) drivers.

And they needed to manually setup the drivers to use the alternative method
(SLI uses a calculation method beased on split screen OR a calculation method based on alternative frames (one frame the first card, the second frame the second card))

The second method (alternative frames) works well with IL2.

Well, if you play other games like doom3 then get the card, it runs great in lots of other games...for some reason it doesn't do good with IL2 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I really hope they figure something out. Hopper64 thanks for the thread, apparently they're having the same problems in that forum.

I currently run one of those gigabyte 2-in-1 SLI setups (6600gt*2 on one card), using gigabytes bog standard driver off the mobo cd. I set the game up to use the IL-2 profile that comes with all the Nvidia drivers (I think), and it plays my Forgotten Battles-AEP-PF merged install perfectly. Have'nt yet tried setting 3 on water, but everything else wound up to max and it is faultless. Beautiful graphics. Your set up should not even break into a sweat, just persevere with the profile selection. You can modify parameters yourself, but I just use the bog standard one that is installed with the driver install. Hope this makes sense! Goodluck.
