Does anyone else find the pc controls as fiddly as i do? I own ct on xbox but i decided to dowload the demo on pc. I found the controls(Im playing with a keyboard)incredibly hard. It was impossible to move slowly, therefore making the game very difficult. How are u supposed to move slowly using thew arrow keyes?

First of all, dont use the arrow keys. The first mistake I see people do is use the arrow keys for movement when they try a PC game. Try to use the WASD+mouse combo. Oh, and scroll wheel is for speed adjustment.

In my opinion, the PC controls are just fine. I had never felt anything more natural.

Honestly? I downloaded it and i was so confused...i have it on xbox but the pc controls seems way harder. Having played both a lot, i actually beat half of splinter cell 1 on pc, i would have to say the xbox controls are a bajillion times easier than pc. But the xbox controller is made for gaming, so it should be easier. However, those gamers who play pc, have obviously gotten used to it, and i fully understand their feelings about how easy it is for them

I picked up SC1 on the PC, and the controls were very intuitive.

The mousewheel is used to control how fast Sam moves, and there are like 4-5 degrees of movement. This is akin to how far you would push the analog stick. The upshot to the PC controls is you will never accidentally push too hard at one moment and be caught.

The mouse controls the camera and the aiming, which I find much easier in general with games that require shooting, and the WSAD keys control movement. E draws the gun, shift jumps, the space bar interacts, c crouches, etc., etc. All the action keys are close by and easy to access, as are the keys on an Xbox controller (save those two small-*** buttons far off...I hate those).

I know what you mean, Spekkio. Thats why for xbox 360 they're putting the black/white buttons as triggers above the left/right triggers.

I can't imagine playing Splinter Cell on a controller. How can you aim without a mouse? I'm confused.
