I have to disagree with Harry Potter getting 35th. Read the books and then watch the movie againhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Replace Passion of the Christ with Life Aquatic and I'll be happy (though only personal preference). If you get the chance, watch this movie it's awsome and it comes out on tuesday.

Live aquatic was hilarious.

I liked Life Aquatic, it got a good score, it's just not top ten material. It wasn't as good as Rushmore or Royal Tannenbaums.

As for Harry Potter, I'm not going to read the book...the quality of a movie has nothing to do with the quality of the source material. The book could be the best thing ever written, the movie is still just slightly above average.

Wow all the good movies are mostly at the bottom.....Whats your problem I liked those movies....You got no taste......

nemt

What exactly did you like at the bottom? You Got Served? I dare you to defend that movie.

The Punisher, Man on Fire, and Barber Shop 2: Back in Business.

Shouldnt be near the bottom....And the ones on top like: Kill Bill (Both Suck.), Garden State (wtf lame kinda movie is this.), Troy should be like #3, Oceans Twelve before alot of those movies stated above.................Ray should be near the top 10, ...............

Did it ever occur to you just because black people are in a movie it's not automatically good?

You have quite possibly the worst taste in movies if you actually like the ones you're trying to defend.

Lets not start getting racist herehttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

It's not a racist thing, it's an anti-racist thing.

Barbershop 2: Possibly the stupidest movie released besides YGS last year.

Man on Fire: Denzel's worst film ever.

Ray: Not a bad film, but an overrated, clouded biographic work which would've been much better if they had actually focused on the man's music.

For some reason I doubt you would've even seen any of these, let alone defend them, had the characters been white.

Rent a brainstem, "Gangxta," Tupac would be proud.

For one thing, Ganxsta is Mexican and not Blackhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
For another thing, Tupac is dead and Ganxsta is not.
For a third thing, we don't need to be flaming each otherhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Hey nemt did you see Finding Neverland? Btw everybody, please don't flame me for liking a movie that is good IMO. And everybody don't flame nemt for having an oppinion, those were the movies of 2004 he liked and didn't.

I haven't seen Finding Neverland, I thought about renting it but never got around to it. I have a score up on that page for every 2004 movie I've seen.

Leprechaun9
05-08-2005, 03:38 PM
Yeah, Finding Neverland should be in the top 15. I was suprised at how good it was.

Also, I have to agree with your score on Saw, it had a good plot... but they some how managed to ruin it. If you get the chance, see Seven. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

There's a fine line between having an unwise opinion and just being flat out wrong. You haven't seen that line in years.

Why is Kill Bill vol2 nr1 on this list?
That movie can't compare to Dodgeball and King Arthur. Pluss some other movies on that list.

But almost everything is better than Kill Bill!
I'm not a huge fan of Tarantino as you probably understood http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gifHis so called masterpieces are SO BAD!

but, hey... That's my opinion!

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind... hmm... I remember seeing that on the worst plane trip of my life... and I never really gave it a fair go. To be honest, it made me feel sick to watch it... maybe it was because I just had no idea what was going on, and it was completely random and... arrghh... let us never speak of that plane trip again... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif
