Sam Fisher was born in 1957, and with the game being played in 2007, this puts him at 50 years of age and officially makes him incredible!

How old are you? I'm curious to know the ages of those here who play the game. Myself, I'm 42 and just bought the game two weeks ago... SCCT rocks!

I'm 19, as far as earth government is concerned. Did you know that Lambert is actually four years younger than Sam? It's true, it's alluded to in the novel.

44, i bought Splinter Cell in 2002(still my favorite of the three),Pandora Tomorrow(least favorite)last year,Chaos Theory(2nd favorite) limited collectors edition on day of release.

now i'm looking forward to SC4.

my favorite games used to be fighting games,i have every fighting game for SNK NEO-GEO.

but now its all about stealth.

i hope the Splinter Cell movie will do the name justice. i'm gonna puke if they spend too much time on dialogue and not stay focused on the action and suspence that we are used to.

instead of using live actors i think they should make it using the same computer graphics that the game uses. then they wouldn't have to train some poor sap to do the split jump.
plus we'd still get to hear Michael Ironside's voice for Sam.

Whoa... didn't recognize his voice. That's cool. Guess that's what I get for not watching the credits!

yeah,go buy Splinter Cell 1,you can pick it up used for $5.00 and new for $20.00.

in the special features there are clips about the making of splinter cell and there is one with Michael Ironside doing the voice overs.
its cool. then watch Total Recall(Arnold Schwarzenegger,Michael Ironside) and every time he talks it'll sound like Sam Fisher.

Same here. And I agree about the cg graphics, but it looks like they're having it differently. Check the blackout TV spot.

I'm 18, and I'll be 19 in a few weeks. I've been a fan of SC ever since the first one came out. One of THE best videogame franchises, no doubt about it.

BTW, there's another thread about who should play Sam in the movie:

I don't think it's going to be live-action. BFS says Clive Owen would make a good Sam, and right now I agree.
